My name is Jill Conant and I am 37 years old. I recently had an experience which I thought would be very appropriate to share on this website. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed a small mole on my chest...
I eat right, exercise, breast fed my children, and buy organic when I
can. I have never lived on a superfund site and I do not
have cancer in my family line. The chance of me finding a
lump in my breasts were--I thought--slim to none.
In the fall of 2009, I began to experience some psychological issues. I had some anxiety and weird thoughts. My friends might joke that weird thoughts were normal for me but they weren't and anxiety was something I had never experience in any way.
Joe McDonough liked to work-out at the gym...or at least he like the benefits of a good work-out. He lifted weights and used the cardio machines on a regular basis. At 33 years-old, he was "still" in great shape. During one of his work-outs he noticed something felt like it "popped."
I am a Hodgkin's lymphoma cancer survivor of 7 years. What exactly does that mean?
I was diagnosed when I was 33. Before my diagnosis, I didn't experience any out of the ordinary symptoms. In hindsight, there was one symptom - I was exhausted all the time.
Bumps and bruises were never a rarity in Trusha’s life. As a competitive figure skater it was normal for her to wake up with body aches and knots after a practice session, so when she felt a couple of knots in her neck she didn’t think much about it.
Janine Holston's family wants the 15 to 40 population to learn from her experience. She was a much loved family member and friend to many. Her family enjoys remembering her musical talents.
Mary Lynne
was never a stranger to doctor's offices. She had been receiving treatment for
her rheumatoid arthritis (RA) since she was 20. Her RA could be very painful at
times but as a young college student, then a college graduate with a new
career, a new bride and eventually the mother of two young children she didn't
have time to let it slow her down.
Debbie was
diagnosed with breast cancer at the age of 37. As a strong willed and devoted
mother to her three young children, she was determined to hold the impact of
cancer as far away from her children as possible.
The Genie from "The Snowball: Warren Buffet and the Business of Life"
“Let’s say that when I turned sixteen, a genie had appeared to me. And that genie said, ‘Warren, I’m going to give you the car of your choice. It will be here tomorrow morning with a big bow tied on it. Brand-new. And it’s all yours.’
